Sidney Gendin, Ph.D. is a professor of philosophy of law at Eastern Michigan University. He has taught philosophy for 36 years, specializing in philosophy of law. He has co-edited several books and authored about 20 articles appearing in leading philosophy journals. Sidney was a serious track runner for 24 years up to age 41. He became interested in powerlifting in 1997 at age 63 after 22 years of inactivity and has now reached 315 in the bench press, up from 135.
